An Evergreen Museum & Library wedding can move from gardens and terrace to a Carriage House reception. The gallery moves from outdoor views to preparations, guest reactions and dancing indoors.

The gallery below offers a way to judge that range before planning your own coverage.

We can discuss the ceremony, family groups and reception together.

Which Evergreen spaces are used for weddings?

Evergreen's official wedding information describes the Gardens and Terrace for ceremonies and cocktails, with the Carriage House providing an indoor setting for dinner and dancing. The Carriage House can also serve as a rain location for outdoor events.

Ask which spaces your rental includes and when each becomes available to your vendors. Museum interiors, event spaces and separate portrait access should be confirmed individually. A tour of the property is useful for checking the route between the ceremony, family photographs and reception.

How many guests can Evergreen accommodate?

The venue's current FAQ lists 170 wedding guests from April through December, allowing for a backup rain plan in the Carriage House. It separately lists 400 for a fully tented Garden event. Those are different arrangements, so choose a layout with the events team rather than treating the larger figure as an indoor wedding capacity.

The wedding page says the Carriage House Patio is tented from April through December. Fully tented garden events are limited in number and require additional setup and breakdown time. Confirm the option for your date, then leave space in the plan for dining, dancing and people moving around the room.

Where should portraits fit in the day?

The photographs here include arched entrances, paths, hedges and open lawn, alongside closer moments with flowers and a veil. Choose a short portrait route so there is time for the architecture and a close photograph before returning to guests.

Keep family groupings near a place everyone can reach comfortably. Ask the venue about the agreed portrait areas, mobility needs and a sheltered alternative. Its FAQ treats small photo and film shoots as a separate request for a fee; wedding rental information alone does not establish permission for an engagement session.

What should you confirm before booking?

Evergreen says ceremonies are booked with catered receptions and requires clients to use its exclusive caterers. Ask for the current proposal, preparation-suite access, vendor load-in and the exact rain arrangement. The venue also prohibits sparklers, confetti and aerial or drone photography; plan the exit and photo coverage accordingly.

The indoor photographs in this gallery show how the story continues after the garden portraits: embraces, guests at the bar and a crowded dance floor. Reserve coverage for those interactions as well as the formal parts of the day.
