Real National Gallery Engagement Session: Washington, DC Photos
Updated: Oct 19
These National Gallery engagement photos move from the blue rooster and autumn leaves to quiet portraits, interior light and tall columns. The sequence follows a couple through playful close-ups and changing architecture without losing sight of their connection.
Sculpture, autumn leaves and close portraits
The first frames stay outdoors. A portrait beside the blue rooster gives way to red leaves, hats and black-and-white photographs that keep the focus on expression and movement.

Interior lines and pockets of light
Inside, glass beams, stone, stairs and rows of glowing ceiling lights change the scale of the photographs. Wider architectural frames sit beside close, candid portraits.

Columns and a quieter finish
The later photographs return to pale stone and the columned building. The campus changes the setting while the couple remains at the center of the session.
