Mantas was hands down the best photographer we could have asked for. He was our first vendor meeting and we hit it off with him right away. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera and truly listens to you - likes, dislikes, preferences, etc. We had the most fun at our engagement session which was taken while my husband and I paddle boarded and our wedding day ended up being cold and rainy and Mantas still managed to make it a fun experience capturing photos. The photos turned out beautifully and it's true what they say, rainy days make for the best photos. The delivery of our photos was so well curated and designed, we were in awe when the package arrived. We would not hesitate to recommend Mantas. You will not be disappointed!
Mantas is AMAZING! He shot both our engagement photos and our wedding and he did such a beautiful job. He has an incredible and artful eye and his photos are not only visually stunning but they perfectly capture our personalities. After researching Mantas' work, I knew he was the one to capture this special occasion for us. We booked engagement and wedding photos with him. So far we only completed the engagement shoot. He is super creative, fun and easy going. The pictures turned out amazing! I am so excited to see how our wedding photos will turn out. I will update my review after March 2019 when we have our wedding photos. If you are into edgy, cool, different and just fun photos, he is the guy for you.
Simply put, Mantas is absolutely amazing. He was our wedding photographer for a March 2016 wedding in Washington, DC and we could not be more pleased with the incredible photos. They are spectacular! Every single image conveys the love and beauty we felt that day. His candid shots are something we will truly treasure for the rest of our lives. Beyond the photos, working with Mantas could not have been more comfortable or enjoyable. By the end of the day he felt like a family friend instead of the event photographer. He will put any nerves or tensions at ease and is every bit the professional. He orchestrated gorgeous family photos, helping to corral both sides of the family and the dozen friends we wanted in photos. I spent hours agonizing over which wedding photographer to pick - so many options! But I wish someone had just told me how perfect Mantas is because it would have made the decision so much easier. Mantas was beloved by everyone at our wedding, and trust me, pleasing everyone is no easy feat. As for price, take it from someone who did the research, this is incredibly competitive and for what we got I felt 100% comfortable with the cost. He is worth every penny! Mantas' style and photographic eye are so unique and original - you are going to end up with better images than you even imagine. I would give him 6 stars if possible!

Best photographer in Washington DC! We had our engagement photo shoot with Mantas at various monuments around DC and he was able to make our pictures so unique and utilized light to really capture things from a different perspective. He knew where to stop, had a positive attitude and kept things looking natural rather than posed. We love how everything came out! We cannot wait to work with him again.

We are still waiting on our proofs but I have no doubt that the photos will be amazing. Mantas has such great energy and was so wonderful to work with over the entire process. He came to meet with us early on in New York, where we live, to make it easier on us. He decided to bring an assistant to the wedding because of the size of the venue, National Museum of Women in the Arts. His assistant Anna was also wonderful. The only issue of the day was the fact that our wedding overlapped the 20th anniversary of the million man march, this impacted our original photo location of the Library of Congress, Mantas took charge, changed the location and made it work wonderfully. We really can't recommend him highly enough. Due to his international travel and work sometimes there is a delay in his response time but it was never a big issue.

I am such a lucky bride to have found Mantas for our wedding. We instantly loved his portfolio and knew he would be able to capture the essence of our special weekend in timeless photographs to relive the moments over the many years to come. What we didn't consider was how truly wonderful the whole experience would be. Mantas provided a complementary engagement shoot which helped us get to know him and loosen up so our wedding day went even more smoothly. Most friendly and welcoming photographer ever, When looking online for a photographer his pictures stood out to me rather than all the rest because all the examples he had to show were all so different and unique. My fiancé and I had never taken professional pictures together before so we didn't know exactly what to do and Mantas helped us so much with posing and making it easier to relax! It also took him no time to get the pictures edited and into our hands, they turned out absolutely amazing we couldn't be happier. Would for sure recommend him as the best photographer in Washington. Mantas is incredible! I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his photography. My fiancé and I took engagement photos with him in April and he was such a pleasure to work with. He was accommodating to our every request and idea and really flexible on timing. He even stayed extra time to change locations for us! We took shots with our dogs and he was great with them too. We got our photos back in less than two weeks and they are just what we wanted to. Mantas is a really down to earth guy who is easy to work with, especially if you (or your partner) isn't too stoked about the idea of taking engagement photos. We were looking for a photographer to make pictures of us during our holiday in Washington DC to celebrate our engagement, and to have some nice pictures other than 'selfies' of our trip to the USA. I found Mantas on the internet and his pictures on the site were promising! So we contacted Mantas by mail and he was very kind and responded quick to our questions. Our shoot exceeded all our expectations. We had a fun time during the photoshoot. Mantas is really enthusiastic and he made us feel comfortable. After the shoot he even showed us around his favorite spots in Georgetown. Than after a few weeks (very quickly!) Mantas send us the pictures, it was a nice surprise that there were a lot more than we expected and all pictures were all beautiful. Mantas is an absolutely fantastic engagement and wedding photographer! My husband and I were searching the internet for a photographer in the D.C. area and when we came across his photos, we realized we couldn't pass up hiring him.
We were a bit shy starting off and not knowing what to expect, but Mantas made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire engagement session. He has such a friendly, warm, and genuine personality and had us laughing the whole time. He really focuses on capturing your emotion and the joy that comes from the experience, encouraging us to be ourselves with nothing forced. We went to a new location (Basilica of the National Shrine) that is not photographed much, but he embraced the location and captured every thing we love about this special place. We loved working with him so much that we also had him take our wedding photos!
He continued to impress us with the wedding photography experience. He captured all of the moments and memories that make the day so special, and encouraged us to enjoy the day without focusing too much on posing or the camera. He blended right in during the ceremony, and during the reception, he brought out the smiles and laughter with the guests. Our families still comment on how much they enjoyed having him there; like he was a family friend that we had known for years!

My fiancé and I LOVED working with Mantas! Our wedding was three days ago and I already feel the need to rave about his services. He is such a sweet, easy going guy and has a wonderful sense of humor. He and his great assistant made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable having their pictures taken. Mantas was extremely flexible about the photo package we wanted and offered to do a post-wedding session instead of the engagement one. He met with us in person (even came to our neighborhood) to discuss his photography and the product we were hoping for. On the day of the wedding Mantas went above and beyond by coming early to take photos at the salon where I was getting my hair done. Definitely agree with the last reviewer that his prices are extremely reasonable. Other photographers we talked to before Mantas didn't even come close to his price range. We had a very small wedding and didn't feel like we needed to spend a fortune to get pictures of the special day. We haven't gotten our pictures back, but I feel so confident about the few he showed me to write a glowing review. The best thing I'll say about Mantas is his eye for getting creative photos. There's so many boring wedding photos out there and Mantas' work is so refreshing. His stuff is more like art than wedding photos. If you're looking for original, edgy photos and want a great personal experience - Mantas is your man!

Mantas was absolutely wonderful to work with. My fiancé and I wanted a fresh/unique photographer to capture our civil ceremony at the Jefferson Memorial. Mantas made sure he caught the essence of the day, and delivered fun, fresh and beautiful pictures that really captured the moments we lived that day. We also did the engagement photo session which was so much fun and got really great pictures that we absolutely love. You really can tell Mantas loves photography and he wants to make sure he can give you the best product possible. Mantas is THE BEST engagement photographer! Not only are his photography skills spectacular, but he really cares about the couples he photographs. He made us feel at ease, which you can see by how relaxed and happy we are in our photos. We had actually booked another photographer for the shoot, who had cancelled due to illness at the last minute. We were desperate to find someone to do our shoot before we left DC for the summer, and Mantas dropped his plans to be available for the night. He is a great person who is so fun to be around. If our wedding was in the DC area or if we had known about him sooner, we would definitely hire him for our wedding as well.

There are not enough good things to say about Mantas and his photography skills! We are from Miami, FL and were looking for a photographer to capture our engagement with the beautiful cherry blossoms in DC. We found Mantas Photography on Yelp and looked through the website--we were immediately hooked! Everything we saw was brilliant! We emailed him to request pricing and couldn't believe how affordable he was. Over email we could already tell that he was down to earth and overall a good person. Our intuition proved us right. Once we arrived in DC, Mantas graciously offered to pick us up (and drop us off!) at our hotel to take us to the Tidal Basin (where the cherry blossoms were in peak bloom) for our photo shoot. Mantas brought along his long-time friend Rimas who "used" us a practice run for his new videography business--the result was truly remarkable.
Mantas had extensively prepared for our photo shoot--which was so impressive! He spent sometime around the Cherry Blossoms the day before and pre-planned areas where he thought would be great shooting opportunities. He was absolutely excited to come across new photo opps and immediately let his creativity take over--the end result of this was outstanding! We felt at ease while taking the photos and he always encouraged us to "make our magic!" We didn't feel weird despite the massive amounts of people, and Mantas and Rimas were always there to guide us.
The only request we had was to look as though there was nothing around us but Cherry Blossoms-- HE EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS COMPLETELY! We couldn't be happier with our pictures--they are so much more than what we could have imagined.
We are so very grateful to Mantas for capturing this important time in our lives, and most of all we are thankful to have met such wonderful people. We hope that Mantas and Rimas contact us for their next trip to Miami--we certainly look forward to more good times with our two new friends!
